Designer Bio

Dana Cooper is a fiber artist and designer, living outside the city of Chicago, who creates and sculpts exquisite fabrics into beautiful bridal and evening bags. After graduating with a Bachelors of Science in Education from Ohio University, Dana spent the next six years studying pattern making, fashion design, and the art of manipulating fabric. Dana's creative energies led her to an internship with Chicago based fashion designer, Lara Miller. It was then, while working for Lara, that Dana decided she wanted to start her own business. She immediately enrolled in business courses, started volunteering at Gen Art Organization, and attended fashion business seminars. Soon the idea of KeepBags grew into a gorgeous collection of not only evening bags, but bridal as well.
Dana's collections come from her love of art, fashion, and a wide variety of inspiration. Whether she is crafting and creating bridal bags or finger painting with her children, art is truly her passion.
